I had a nice long discussion with a bunch of embibing 20-somethings about the differences between pure blogging and MySpacing.
The argument centered around all the "amazing" features available at MySpace.
I've had a MySpace page for about 3 years, and I'm still trying to anything amazing about it.
The only thing I find amazing about it is how much time people are willing to waste on creating and maintaining their pages.
My daughter will sit in front of the PC for 18 hours a day if I allow her. Also, when she refers to her friends, I have to stop her in the midst of her happy anecdote and clarify whether she is speaking of "real" friends or "MySpace" friends.
Now, I may only be 40, but I feel like a prude talking about this. I must be losing touch.
I'll be in the corner in my rocking chair, wrapped in a flannel blanket if anyone needs me!
